Civic Participation and Employment
Age Friendly Business Program- provides age-friendly designation to Portland businesses that meet certain criteria for inclusiveness and accessibility for people of all ages and abilities.
Communication and Information
Portland Resource Guide- Second edition translated into four foreign languages most commonly spoken in Portland; Spanish, Arabic, Somali, French
Housing
Volunteer Snow Shoveling Program - Community volunteers shovel sidewalks, walkways, and steps for older Portland homeowners.
Outdoor Spaces and Public Buildings
Ramp Up for Accessibility- 2022 Community Challenge grant funds used to purchase portable ramps and doorbells for businesses and organizations with steps/limited access at the entrance.
